By car, from the East (Glasgow) direction:
Follow road directions for Gourock (A770). Drive through Gourock town centre and continue for about 1 mile along the promenade until you see a large white building with a flagpole (Gourock Yacht Club) on your right. Turn left into Victoria Road opposite (see route marked on map above) and go up the hill (caution! narrow road). Then take the 2nd turn right (at the post box) into Golf Road. At the Keystore shop, turn right into Cowal View. Turnberry Avenue is the 3rd turning on the right, approximately three-quarters of a mile after the shop. Berghaus B&B is the 3rd house on the left, about 300m down Turnberry Avenue where the road widens into a lay-by, just by a brown picket fence.

On foot from the Dunoon ferry (Western ferry terminal):
We are only about 15 minutes walk from the Western ferry terminal. Turn left out of the ferry terminal and follow the main road towards the town for a few minutes until you see Cloch Brae on your right - there is a post box on the corner. Go up Cloch Brae until you see a path with some steps - Berghaus B&B is at the top of this path, on the left.

From the railway station and main ferry terminal in Gourock town centre:
Taxis are usually available from the railway station, however if you are travelling on foot: Exit the station/ferry terminal and turn left, then take the first proper right turn into St John’s Road - there is a butcher's shop on the corner. Follow this road, ignoring all forks to the left and right, until you see the road starting to descend steeply ahead of you into a narrow road with passing places - don’t go down the hill but instead turn to the left into Golf Road.
